Alexander is a managing director at SPOT Advisory GmbH. He focuses on strategy, policy and operations projects. Alexander combines his extensive expertise in supply chain management, logistics and procurement with his first-hand experience as senior manager of various international organizations. Alexander has led numerous high-value and complex projects with a particular focus on stakeholder engagement, decision-making and change management in countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and North America.
Prior to joining SPOT Advisory, Alexander held senior management positions at the United Nations as Chief Procurement Officer of the largest United Nations peacekeeping mission and as Deputy Director of Procurement at the United Nations Office for Project Services. Prior, Alexander worked for a top-tier management-consulting firm, a position from which his passion for management consulting grew.
Alexander holds a Master of Science (MSc) from the University of Southern California and a Doctorate (PhD) in Business Computing from the University of Paderborn. In his doctoral research, Alexander specialized in supply chain management in the context of humanitarian operations. Alexander is also a lecturer at various European universities and has more than 30 publications in international journals. Alexander speaks English, French and German.
Andreas is a senior advisor at SPOT Advisory GmbH. He focuses on strategy, transformations and operations projects. Andreas has extensive functional expertise in market assessments, financial modeling and organizational change as well as insights into the development sector. Andreas has been responsible for the development and implementation of multiple multi-million dollar projects. He is a strong believer in holistically managed projects as well as building relevant capacities within client teams.
Prior to joining SPOT Advisory, Andreas worked for more than a decade in top-tier management consulting. He has supported clients in the public sector, public private partnerships and private companies. Throughout his career, Andreas has been committed to the social impact of his work. This is exemplified by his past role a management position at the United Nations Office for Project Services, as well as his regular dedication of free time to various volunteer pursuits.
Andreas holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Chemistry from Wilhelms University in Muenster and a Doctorate (PhD) in Business from the Zeppelin University. In his doctoral research, Andreas specialized in innovation management in the private sector. Andreas has a long-standing track record in Train-The-Trainer and mentoring activities, as well as working as a lecturer at various European universities in the field of strategy and marketing. Andreas speaks English, Spanish and German.
